What's Happening This Week----March 6th Through March 10th

Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will learn the sound that the letter "Ee" makes----keyword----elephant.  The students will learn that the letter "Ee" is a vowel letter.

Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading "Ee" words.  Some of the "Ee" words to be read will be:  net, bell, leg, step, nest, mess, get, help, ten, spell , rest, yes, yet, pet, pen, press, stress and bless.  Some "sight words" to be read will be:  into, four, one, has and you.

Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letters----"Cc" and "Ee".  Phonics words and first and last name will also be printed.

Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will be learning about "Money"----the penny and the nickel.  Then,  the students will learn about "take away" or "subtraction".

Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will learn in Chapter 28, that "We Share Faith"---by knowing that "All Things Are Gifts From God", by sharing "Family Fun" and by "Doing What Jesus Wants Us to Do"----be kind and caring.

Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Energy"-----"Sound and Light".

Crafts----The Kindergarten crafts, this week, will be centered around "Lent" and "St. Patrick's Day".
