What's Happening This Week----March 13th Through March 17th

Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Ee" makes----keyword----elephant.  Then, the students will learn the sound that the letter "Yy" makes----keyword----yarn. The students will learn that the letter "Yy" is a consonant letter.

Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading phonics word lists and the phonics booklet----"Ben is Ten".  Some of the "Ee" words to be read will be:  yes, yet, pet, pen, press, bless and stress.  The "Yy" words to be read will be:  yam, yak, yell, yap, yen, yes and yelp.  The "sight words" to be read will be:  one, you, four and into.

Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letters "Ee" and "Yy".  The students will also be printing phonics words, their first and last name and phonics word sentences.

Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will continue learning about "Subtraction".

Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will be learning about making "Kind Choices" , 'Staying Safe" and  "Taking Care of God's Creation".

Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will continue learning about "Energy"----"Heat".  Then, the students will learn about "Positions".

Kindergarten Crafts----The crafts will center around St. Patrick's Day.
