Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will continue learning about the sound that the letter "Yy" makes----keyword----yarn. Then, the Kindergarten students will learn the sound that the letter "Dd" makes----keyword----dog. The students will learn that the letter "Dd" is a consonant letter.
Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading phonics word lists, sight words and the phonics booklet----"I Did It". Some of the words to be read will be: yes, yet, pet, pen, yum, yam, stuff, cliff, press, bless and stress. Some of the "Dd" words to be read will be: dog, doll, disk, sad, desk, drum, had, slid, hid, mud, red, rid, did, stand and sand. Some of the sight words to be read will be: you, into, one, said and four.
Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letters "Yy" and "Dd". The students will also be printing phonics word sentences and their first and last name.
Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will continue learning about "Subtraction".
Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will say a "Promise" about taking care of God's creation.
Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Positions" and "Motion".
