Phonics----The students will continue their study of the letter "Ff"----keyword----fish. Then, the students will begin the study of the sound that "Rr" makes----keyword----rabbit.
Reading----The students will be reading phonics words and word lists. Some of the "Ff" words that the students will be reading are:fan, fin, film, flag, fill, fist, soft, flop, golf, lift, loft, sift, flip and fast. Some of the "Rr" words will be: rip, ram, rag, rot, rat, rap, ran, trip, trim, trap, raft, ramp, grass and gram.
Handwriting----The students will be printing the letter "Ff" and "Rr". The students will also be printing phonics words and their first name.
Math----The students will be identifying and writing the numbers 13,14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. The students will be doing many hands-on activities.
Religion----The students will learn that God "Made Us to Be a Family"
Science----The students will learn about Earth's "Natural Resources".
Social Studies----The students will learn about "Charts" and "Using Pictures and Maps".
Crafts-----The students will be making a paper plate reindeer, doing many Christmas stickers, making an Advent wreath, and many Christmas worksheets.
