Phonics----The students will continue learning about the sound the letter "Oo" makes---keyword---"octopus". Then, the students will learn the sound that the letter "Gg" makes---keyword---goat. The students will learn that the letter "Gg" is a consonant letter.
Reading----The students will continue learning to read the color words, especially the color words---red, blue, and yellow. The students will also learn how to sound out and read the word---"l--o--g"
Handwriting----The students will be printing the letters "Oo" and "Gg". The students will be printing their first name and the word---"log".
Math----The students will be learning how to write the number "3". The students will also be learning "Sorting by Color and Shape", "Sorting by Shape and Size", and "Identifying and Writing the Numbers 2 and 3". The students will be learning about the "square shape" and the color "yellow".
Religion----In Chapter 4, the students will learn that "God Gives Us the Land".
Science----The students will learn about the differences between a "Real and a Pretend" animal or plant.
Social Studies----The students will continue learning about our "American Symbols"-----the Bald Eagle. the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty, and Uncle Sam.
Crafts----The students will be making a Bald Eagle, the Liberty Bell and a Liberty Bell necklace, the Statue of Liberty and a Statue of Liberty Bell hat.
