The Kindergarten Students will be learning the rules and procedures for our Kindergarten Classroom. The students will also be learning about their left and right hand. The students will learn that they are to use their right hand when saying "The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag" and the morning prayers.
Phonics----The students will be learning about the sound of the letter "Ll"---keyword---lion. The students will learn that the letter "Ll" is a consonant letter. The students will be doing many phonics worksheets pertaining to the letter "Ll".
Reading----The Kindergarten students will be learning to read color words. The students will be learning how to spell and read the color word---red. The students will be learning to say a cheer---using the letters in the color word----r-e-d.
Handwriting----The students will be printing their first name and the letter "Ll". The students will be learning that letters sit on a line---no floaty ghost letters!! The students will also be learning how to hold the pencil correctly.
Math----The students will be learning about the number "1"----counting one object and printing the number "1".; the color "red"; "left and right"; and the "circle" shape. The calendar---days, weeks, and the month----will also be studied.
Social Studies----The students will be learning about our "American Symbols"----beginning with our country's flag.
Religion----In Chapter 1, in the students "We Believe" Religion Book, the students will learn that "God Made All Things".
