Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Ww" makes----keyword----wagon. Then, the students will learn the sound that the letter "Qq" makes----keyword----quilt.
Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading "Xx", "Ww" and "Qq" words. Some of the "Xx" words to be read will be: ax, six, fix, mix, fax, ox, fox and box. Some "Ww" words to be read will be: web. west, wet, wax, wind, twin, win, wig, well, weld, swept, twill, weld, wept, went, will, wit, twig and swim. Some of the "Qq" words to be read will be: quilt, quill, quit, quint, quest and squid. Some of the Sight Words to be read will be: what, was do you, said, have, love, of, from and four. The phonics booklet to be read will be----"Spin to Win".
Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letters "Ww" and "Qq".
Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will be reviewing "Patterns", "Money" and "Time". The students will be learning about "More Time or Less Time" and "Cylinder, Cone and Sphere Shapes".
Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will continue their study of Jesus' Resurrection by listening to the "Little Seed" story. The students will also be reading "My Prayer Book".
Kindergarten Social Studies----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Charts", "Putting Things in Order", "Work and Jobs", "Goods and Services" and "Jobs That Help Others".
