Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Vv" makes----keyword----vest. Then, the students will learn the sound that the letter "Jj" make----keyword----jar. The students will learn that the letters "Vv' and "Jj" are consonant letters.
Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading phonics word lists and the phonics booklet----"Pig's Jet". Some of the "Vv" words to be read will be: vent, vest, vet and van. Some of the "Jj" words to be read will be: jet, jug, jam, jest, just, jazz, jog, job, jot, jig and jump. Some of the sight words to be read will be: have, said, you, do, of, into, one and four.
Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letters "Vv" and "Jj". The students will also be printing phonics word sentences and their first and last name.
Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will be learning how to "Count by Ten's. The students will also continue learning about "Money----Dimes and Quarters". Then, Math workbook pages will be done about---"Following Directions", "Temperature", "Exploring Tens" and "Counting to 100".
Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will learn about when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by his cousin John the Baptist. Then, the students will learn about some of the Miracles that Jesus did for others.
Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Science Tools". Then, the students will learn about "Things That Float".
Kindergarten Crafts----The Kindergarten Crafts will center around "Easter".
