What's Happening This Week----December 5th Through December 9th

This Thursday, December 8th, the Kindergarten/ Preschool Classes will be going on their Class Field Trip to Candy Cane Lane, McDonald's and the Library.

Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will be learning about the sound that the letter "Ii" makes----keyword----inch.  The students will learn that the letter "Ii" is a vowel letter.

Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will be reading "Ii" words.  The following "Ii" words will be read:  pig, pin, lip, tip, hit, lit, it, in, tin, him, pit, ill and till.  The students will also be reading the phonics booklet-----"Hop on the Mop". Word lists will also be read.

Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letter "Ii".

Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will be learning to "Identify and Write 11 and 12", "Compare Numbers to 12", "Order Numbers to 12" and to "Identify and Write 13 and 14".

Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students will be learning in Chapter 16 that "God the Father Gives Us Jesus".

Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Homes For Living Things" and about the "Day Sky".

Kindergarten Social Studies----The Kindergarten students will learn about "Families and Change" and "Directions".

Crafts----The Kindergarten students will make crafts around the Christmas theme.
