Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will be learning the sound that the letter "Gg" makes----keyword----goat. The students will learn that the letter "Gg" is a consonant.
Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will continue reading color words.. The students will also be reading the phonics word----l-o-g.
Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will be printing the letter "Gg" and printing the phonics word----l-o-g. The students will continue to practice printing their first name.
Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will continue to learn about "Sorting"---by size, color and shape. Then, the students will learn about "Patterns".. The number "3", the "Rectangle" shape and the color "yellow"----will also be studied.
Kindergarten Religion----The Kindergarten students, in Chapter 3 in their "We Believe" Religion Book, will learn that "God Gives Us Land".. Also, the students will learn, in their "Growing in Love" Religion Book, that "God Made Us to Love".
Kindergarten Social Studies----The Kindergarten students will learn about "How People Get Along"----using rules and laws. The students will also begin a unit about "Our World".
Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will learn about the difference between "Real and Pretend" things". The Kindergarten students will be doing a project----"Sorting things into groups of "Real or Pretend".
