Phonics----The students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Qq" makes----keyword----quilt. Then, the students will learn about the sounds that the letters "ck" ----keyword---lock and "sh"---keyword----shark---make together.
Reading----The students will be reading word lists and the booklet-----"Gus the Duck".
Writing----The students will be writing stories about----a butterfly and a ladybug.
Handwriting----The students will be printing the letters----"Qq", "c", "k", "s" and "h".
Math----The students will be learning about "Odd and Even " numbers and "More Likely, Equally Likely, and Less Likely". Then a unit on "Take Away" will be started. Addition worksheets and "Rocket Math" worksheets will continue to be done.
Religion----The students will listening to Bible stories.
Social Studies----The students will be learning about "Maps and Map Keys".
Science----The students will be reviewing past Science facts.
Crafts----The crafts this week will center around the "Spring Season".
