Phonics----The students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Mm" makes----keyword---monkey. Then, the students will begin their study of the sound that the letter "Ii" makes----keyword----inch.
Reading----The students will be reading the phonics words: mop, ham, mat, man, mom, map, an, on, not, at, and the. Then, the students will read the words: pig, pin, lip, tin, tip, till, in, it, him, hit, hip and pit. The students will also be reading the phonics booklet-----"Hop on the Mop". The students will continue reading color words.
Handwriting----The students will be printing the letters "Mm" and "Ii". The students will also be printing phonics words.
Math----The students will be learning how to equalize a set, comparing numbers to 12, ordering numbers to 12, and doing problem solving problems. The students will also be doing dot-to-dot worksheets, writing numbers, and pattern worksheets.
Religion----The students will continue doing lessons in their "Growing in Love" Religion workbook about-----"God Made Us to Love" and 'We Are Made Like Jesus".
Science----The students will be learning about "Animals and Plants Together".
Social Studies----The students will be learning about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans and the First Thanksgiving.
Crafts----The students will be making a paper plate boy and girl Pilgrim, doing Thanksgiving stickers and other Thanksgiving projects.
Story Time----The students will be listening to many Thanksgiving stories, and stories centered around the letter "Mm".
