Kindergarten

Phonics
The boys and girls this week will continue their study of the letter "Mm".  The next letter of study will be the letter"Ss". 

Math
The boys and girl be learning to write the numbers 17, 18, 19 and 20.  The boys and girls will be doing some dot-to-dot worksheets.

Reading
The boys and girls will continue to read color words and words with the letters "Mm" and "Ss". 

Handwriting
The boys and girls will continue to write their first name and  the letters of the week--"Mm" and "Ss".

Religion
The boys and girls will learn that our families help us to learn about Jesus.

First Grade

Phonics
The students will be studying the suffix "ed" and the diagraph "ee". 

Reading
The students wil start the story "Try Your Best".  Through this story, the students will read many words containing "or".

English
The students will study about "nouns".  They will learn that a noun names a person, animal, thing, or place.

Math
The students will continue working with addition problems.  The students will learn how to add three addends in one addition problem.

Religion

The students will learn that the Holy Spirit helps Jesus' followers to remember Jesus' teachings, how to care for the sick, the poor, and the hungry, praise God together, and learn about God's love.

Social Studies
Everyone wll be studying about the Pilgrims and the First Thankgiving.
