Up- Coming Dates and Events----The Kindergarten students will be having "Princess, Prince and Pirate Day" on Friday, October 14th, to celebrate the "Letter Pp".
On Thursday, December 8th----the Preschool/ Kindergarten Classes will be going on a field trip to "Candy Cane Lane, McDonald's and the Jefferson City Library.
Kindergarten Phonics----The Kindergarten students will continue their study of the sound that the letter "Tt" makes----keyword---tent. Then, the Kindergarten students will learn the sound that the letter "Pp" makes----keyword----pig.
Kindergarten Reading----The Kindergarten students will continue reading the color words. The students will also be reading the phonics words: log, hog, hot, lot, got, tot, pot and top,
Kindergarten Handwriting----The Kindergarten students will continue printing the letter "Tt". Then, the students will be printing the letter "Pp".
Kindergarten Math----The Kindergarten students will be learning the terms: "More", "Fewer" and "Fewest and Most". Then, the students will learn the ways you and "Equalize" a set. The numbers "6"and "7" will be studied. The colors----orange and black---- will be studied.
Kindergarten Religion----In Chapter 8, the Kindergarten students will be learning that "God Made All People" In the "Growing in Love" Religion Book----the students will learn that "God Made Us to be Together".
Kindergarten Social Studies----The Kindergarten students will be learning about "Columbus" and "Needs and Wants".
Kindergarten Science----The Kindergarten students will be learning about the life cycles of a "frog" and a "butterfly".
